A polymeric monolith trap with a 75 nanoliter bed volume for coupling with two 25nl Nano Connectors (GNC-20100) or equivalent connectors (NanoViper, MarvelX, Zenfit) for use in most 1/16" injection valves. This trap is used to concentrate and desalt up to 1 ug of total peptide load in large sample volumes (1-10 microliters) at high flow rates (0.5 - 5 microlites per minute) with low back pressures. This trap works well with most C8 and C18 columns with an internal diameter of 50-75 micron, as peptides elute from the polymeric trap at a lower organic concentration and then restack on the head of the column. This extremely robust trap can be used in both forward flush and back flush mode and washed as required at any pH (2-12) or temperature.
